A) 2009 APA NATIONAL “ARTISTIC POOL” CHAMPIONSHIP SHOOTOUT:
- In association with: DR. CUE CLASSIC “ARTISTIC POOL” TOUR – (STOP #4)
- One Shootout – 3rd Annual “Open” Event – $500 added to Shootout by APA
- Dr. Cue Promotions guarantees a “total” of $1500 in final round payouts for the 12 positions paid regardless of number of entries (see payout chart below)
- All final round “paid” players receive special discount entry to future Dr. Cue Cup event.
- Each player has “bonus” payout / prize opportunities (over $2000 minimum value) for successful execution of specific shots / challenges.
- APA National Artistic Pool Shootout Format: Both genders compete together! Anyone scoring 37 out of 45 possible points in prelims goes to final “shootout” round. Final rounds for Shootout will be on August 28.
- APA will provide 4 plaques for Shootout – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places
- $10.00 entry fee (per preliminary round) at venue site – Players may enter as often as they like to better their preliminary round score(s) for Shootout
Note: A preliminary round consists of shooting 4 challenges one time through!!
B) GUARANTEED PAYOUT / PRIZE CHART / BONUS PAYOUTS FOR SHOOTOUT:
- Receive free prize for every 2 entries
- Raffle ticket given for each entry – Used for special “bonus” shot and prize drawings

Bonus Payouts: (Per Player)
1) Freeze cue ball to ball on chalk (#2 challenge) – $50 (Limit 2 for shootout)
2) Freeze cue ball to cushion (#4 challenge) – $100 (Limit 2 for shootout)
3) Perform both 1 and 2 in same round – $500 (Limit 2 for shootout)
Special Bonus: 2 drawings (8/23 and 8/28) will be done to see who gets 1 roll at challenge #4 – If the player freezes the cue ball to the cushion, he or she will win $1000.00. Other prizes will be given out as well for the special bonus raffle ticket drawings.
Shootout Finals: Consists of each player shooting 4 shots twice for final total score. Players may shoot these anytime during final round time schedule with 4 shots being done on each table. 4 shots will be the same ones performed during preliminary rounds *
