Stroke
Shot/Challenge #1

Degree of Difficulty: 7
Cue Ball Placement: Edge of cue ball closest foot cushion should be
even with back of rack. Cue ball must be on pocket C side of rack. Cue ball may be adjusted anywhere along this line.
Object Ball Placements: Two balls (Between cue ball and A ball), plus A
ball and cue ball are all frozen in straight line to
pocket A.
F ball centered between pocket points.
Note: Rack should be straight and in normal or standard position for racking. If a rack with a ‘lip’ is used, the lip should be down.
Objective:

Shoot the cue ball into the line of 3 balls, making A ball in pocket A. Cue ball goes out past the rack and makes rapid arc or curving draw to pocket F, making F ball as pocket letter designates. A ball and F ball must be made.

Special Notes:

Scratch is allowed (No Penalty). Extra cushion
by F ball is allowed. 2 balls between cue ball
and A ball do not have to be made. If rack is
touched by any means other than the cue ball,
but objective of shot/challenge is complete
in eyes of Head Table Judge, then attempt
should be allowed and scored. Cue ball may
not touch rack before F ball is made, but can
after F ball made. Cue ball may not touch the head cushion. Once cue ball is struck and the line of balls separates, the cue ball may not contact another object ball until F ball is made. In other words, the cue ball must draw around the rack on its own. It may not be ‘kissed’ back by an object ball.

Scoring Potential:

1st attempt -- 7 points
2nd attempt -- 6 points
3rd attempt -- 5 points
