Shot/Challenge #2

Degree of Difficulty: 7
Cue Ball Placement: A barrier line will be drawn from the right edge of ball (at right) to the D pocket point. Cue ball must be placed to the left of this barrier line (between barrier line and head cushion). Cue ball is in hand within this zone.
Object Ball Placements: D ball frozen to head cushion and ½ diamond segment from D pocket. Ball at right is one half ball from D ball and one half ball farther from cushion #3 than D ball.
Objective:

Shoot cue ball to ball a right with jump draw
stroke. Cue ball will go over edge of D ball and
then quickly draw to make D ball in pocket D.

Special Notes:

Scratch is allowed (no penalty). Extra cushion hits by cue ball on head rail before D ball are allowed. Cue ball may not contact cushion #1 until D ball is made. Ball at right doesn’t have to be made. Cue ball must contact ball at right first before contacting D ball. Cue ball may make multiple hits on D ball before making it.

Scoring Potential:

1st attempt -- 7 points
2nd attempt -- 6 points
3rd attempt -- 5 points
